Complete flow study done?

After going through my 2nd flow study yesterday by the time I got home I had such a Migraine.  I was in bed the rest of the evening and most of the day today.  Has any one else have this problem after having this study done.  I had an MRI last yr and I didn't feel like this.  It felt like they had a jackhammer in my head and by the time I was finished I was in tear's just to relief the pain.  Just curious to see if this has happened to anyone else.  Thank God for a helpful and understand husband.  He got every thing ready so we could go to our familly get together's.  I just felt so flustrated and didn't except being in so much pain due to the noise of the machine.  As I said I never experienced this having just 1 MRI.  This flow study took 2 day's of testing so was wondering if maybe this could of been the affect.  Hope every one enjoyed their holiday.  I was blessed enough to be able to see family.  Now home taking it easy.  Merry Christmas to you all and God Bless you all for being here to answer my question.

  Hi Linda.......

Since it sounds like a jack hammer pounding away while in the dang tube it is no wonder we get HA's from MRI;s. but if it is diff then a reg MRI it may be the contrast dye used, so do talk to ur dr about that.

I do tend to get major HA's with MRI's

I have issues everytime I have an MRI done, last one they gave me ear plugs and head phones and still I had a throbbing headache and dizzy. Really not looking forward to having another one done, but I know I need to get an updated head MRI and I'll be having my 1st CINE done.

Hope you are feeling better today!

Dawn:)
