I should of asked this question with ther other one but.....I forgot :)

Does anyone have problems with bruising or dry skin patches?

For atleast the last 2yrs. I continuly have bruises all over me, especially on my legs. Some quite big but I never remember doing anything that would cause it. It just looks awful. Also the dry skin....for quite a while now I have had dry patches on my face and I am always using chap stick because my lips get so dry and I am hardly ever outside and this problem is year round. I am also scratching a lot especially my back and legs.

No bruising here. But dry skin most definately. This started back around April or so of this year. Immediately post-op it left although it has come back to a lesser degree after my little incidence with the wrench on the truck.

Hi Meg...yeah that sounds like 2 diff things...dry patches of skin could be a thyroid issue...and the brusing sounds like EDS = Ehlers Danlos syndrome...there is a page in the Health Pages if u want to read a bit more on it....I was DX this past spring with it.

As I may have mentioned  chiarians r prone to autoimmune disorders and u may a one or two that most here may not, but Hashimoto's and EDS r 2 that I have.......
