This is a random question but has anyone heard or a DR Kerry Crone in Cincinatti? The Dr who might possibly be performing my surgey has performed over 40 surguries in the last few years and was I guess you could say taught by this Dr. Just wondering if anyone has heard of them and is 40 a good number as far as expierence? She is pretty young so I cant imagine that she has been doing it that long!

Hi...

In MHO a true chiari specialist is one that deals with chiari everyday all day....not 40 in a few yrs time....

U might want to have a visit with a chiari specialist to see if u can see a difference btwn the 2 drs.How u feel about the dr is a major issue as well, u must be comfortable with him/her.

I am sure u saw a few drs already....but, u really might want one more opinion.

Well dr crone is suppose to be a specialist, but since I'm new to all this I figured I would ask around. I figured 40 surgeries is better than other Dr's who have only done a handful.

So true and until u do a little more research u will have a little diff time telling one from the  other...but u will know if the dr is right for u.....

And experience over none at all is a big plus! Many that have little experience do not even list chiari as a specialty...ur dr does...so that is a good indication that he is interested in learning as well as treating.....
