About a year ago when I was first diagnosed with Chiari and central vertigo my neuro suggested I go to a vestibular therapy place to help with the dizziness and my coordination. I went about 3 times, but it was too intense for me and I quit. Anyways during my initial assessment I was put on this "balance machine" so they could tell how bad my coordination actually was before they made a plan of treatment for me. I stood eyes open/closed on firm then hard surface (4 different test) then I had to use my body as a video game to connect the dots on the screen in front of me .. Needless to say I did pretty bad and the doc their said I have the coordination of a 70 year old.. I was wondering if anyone has done any kind of testing like this? I would love to do it again to see how much my coordination as worsened over the year, but I do not want to go back to the vestibular therapy place because I know I am in no condition to be doing the actual therapy. Is there any other outpatient testing similar to what I described?
