I have heard for some people low BP and pulse rate are normal, bt I have never heard of one being 31. That is low, low. I am complete opposite. I wake up in the middle of the night with a heart rate of 105 to 115. Somethng I am going to address when I see the dr. I would ask at your next appt. I'm interested in finding out what they say about this. Let us know. Best of luck.
I am 52 and very far from an athlete....in fact the 100/70 is high for me....so, do keep a record so u can see how urs is, but my drs used to panic until they got to realize it was always like that...never looked to see y that I remember....
Thank you Selma. I will try to keep a log. It says that if tou are an atlete it's normal to have a low BP and low heart bpm. But I'm 30 and far from an atlete.
Heart rate depends on ur age...here is a link to a calculator -http://www.medindia.net/patients/calculators/pulse_chart.asp
For adults it is 72 per minute...
120/80 or lower is normal blood pressure;
my BP is always low.... 100/70
Keep a small book with u each time u go to the Dr and record what ur BP is...it is easy to see what it is...I know for yrs Drs always told me my BP was low and let them know if I became symptomatic...
Not sure if it is chiari, I just know I have always been like this.
