How long did it take after surgery for your balance to get better? Did it a ever go back to normal or just improve?

No...that is why I have a turtle for my avitar...slow and steady....

It did improve with time. Not sure how long till I noticed it was better. Then I continued to have issues on uneven ground, like a lawn.I still have an issue from time to time, but it is so much better then it was.Not sure what normal would be, since I have always had balance issues.
