5 year wont eat

how can i get my five year old to eat.all she will eat is chicken nuggets

My son can be that way to sometimes. He goes with periods where he doesn't want to eat much, and then he eats like a little piggy!! BUT when he gets that way, we DO force to him eat. Maybe NOT everything on his plate. BUT most of it. Or he can't watch TV or play his games. I've sent him to bed without eating once or twice. BUT usually after a while of not being able to do anything, he usually eats it. Or just gets hungry enough to eat it.
