Taking Celexa and Straterra together

by Rachcavazos, Sep 13, 2007 02:26PM
My son is 10 years old and he was diagnosed with ADD a few years back and now had a very severe case of OCD. The Dr. he went to see for the OCD prescribed Celexa. He started taking it and has improved very well. Now he is also going to take his daily dose of Straterra for school purposes and to stay focused. Is this a bad thing for his health. Giving him too much of one or the other? will that cause more damage than good. I am just concerned since both medications are so different. The Dr. says not to worry. I just want some assurance and to know there will be a benefit and no harm done to my child. Please any advise on these two medication interacting would be helpful...
