parental abuse of childs adderall(adderrall)

a child i have  observed in the last month or so has been on adderall (adderrall) for a couple of months really improved on behavior parents seemed really concerned then just a month ago has the following symptoms severe mood swings repeatin things over and over again appearing to be in a drug induced stupor confusion seeming at times to be in her own world so to speak unaware at times of people and her surroundings  my question of concern is it possible consider this scenario if say the caregivers parents etc were giving this child only half of her medication a time relesed one of adderall (adderrall) wouldnt that be a total shock to her system and bring about the above symptoms it would be for example like instead of hte meds taken or given correctly it is giving htis chila a double dose of adderall (adderrall) if they are splitting pills in order that they possibly can have the other half for them selves im really concerned for this childs life as well as her future she seem to have lost all her cognitive and attention ability in this short time please let me know anyhing that could be done and everthing that is a possssibility thank you

best to discuss this with a doctor or pharmacist who can tell you what the expected effects might be should the parents be over or under medicating the child concerned.  It could also be that the child may be being given other medications (prescribed or not) which are interacting with the Adderall (adderrall).. Make sure you keep a written record of changes in behaviour/symptoms with dates and times so that you have written evidence should you ever need it.
