Chlamydia Results

I just got my results and I'm positive for Chlamydia Trachomatis IgG Antibody but "not detected" for Chlanydia PCR.

What do they mean? Am I having Chlamydia?

Blood test I assume is what you had done? If so get a swab or urine test.

I did both, blood and penile swab.

The blood test shows positive Chlamydia Trachomatis IgG Antibody but the swab test shows "not detected" for Chlanydia PCR.

What do they mean?

Blood test shows the antibody so at one time you might have had chlamydia. The urine/swab looks for an active infection which came up negative from your test.
