Alcoholic Mother

My Mum is an Alcoholic as been for many years. She got diagnosed with, liver cirrhosis, enlarged spleen, Low blood pressure. Now her back is hurting her and she keeps getting really bad nose bleeds. Her whole body is so thin and yellow even her eyes and her ankles are swollen, she can hardly walk. I am so worried as to what to do. Also wondering how long she will have too suffer like this. Looking at her I don't think she will last much longer and it is so upsetting. I will ring her specialist in the morning hopefully they will do something.

I'm so very sorry to hear. I know it must be heartbreaking for you. I wish there was a magic wand and we could help her.  Please try to get her to a doctor, as you know she is killing herself.
Please keep in touch, let us know how you are doing
