Terry, I was the guy outside, shaking, waiting for the liquor store to open in the morning. My addiction had absolutely nothing to do with the man earning a living running the corner store. As a matter of fact, sometimes that man was the only one who would take the time and effort to try to slow me down. Whenever I would dry out, he was always the first one to complement me and encourage me to not drink, saying how much better I looked and took care of myself by not drinking. He'd be the only one to turn me down on a liquor sale, but slip me a free piece of healthy fruit or something. As I said, it was my addiction. Unfortunately I had to go thru very serious life and death health situations to learn my lesson. I only wish I had listened to that man in the corner store much sooner. Andy
Not everyone is an alcoholic (though Lord knows I went to a different liquor store every day of the week in my hey day thinking I was fooling people).
You did your job. If you were closed I would have gone to the next store.
Don't sweat it.
Terry
We all need to work to survive.
You didn't tell anyone to drink alcohol, its their choice.
No worries

Forget about it. You were doing your job. Someone had to. Why feel bad? My dad was a great man. He worked in a liquor store. No one ever thought he should be guilty. Go on with your life and live like there's no tomorrow...
