Hepatitis C

Hi
I Am Technician working in a hospital in Egypt ... yesterday i was given a blood tube related to a patient who was  diagnosed to have Hep c... I Was Not Wearing Gloves Because I Forgot .. Any way i just figured out that blood tube was apparently clean from outside but i am just worried because i have a wound which iwas Not bleeding and in stage of healing in the hand which i used to carry this tube

so what are the chances of catching this virus if any unapparent blood was on that tube that i didn't see it and it found a way through this wound ?

thanks in Advance

Ritoko,
Hep C is a nasty thing, I am actually more nervous around folks who has it than HIV patients. :)

I don't think that you may have gotten it, if you did dunk your whole finger into the vial...than it may have been another matter. I would not worry too much, but if you are that nervous try...
