Metalic taste in mouth with white line on cheek and sore jaw

I noticed this morning that I have a white line on the inside of my mouth, with a bitter/metalic taste.  In addition to my back of my jaw hurts.

I have called my primary doctor, but I do not know if this is a medical or dental issue.

Has anyone else experienced this type of symptoms?

Deb

i think all 3 are probably unrelated....
white line prob from cheek biting
sore jaw may be muscle spasm/tmj
mteal taste may be from a broken/exposed filling or a wrigley's wrapper stuck somewhere in your mouth.

see a dentist.. you won't get answers on the internet because no one can see you.

You should make an appt. with your Dentist.Personally I believe that you are guilty of cheek biting or do you have an overbite? I don't think it is nothing serious.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
It is not unusual to have a white line in the cheek area. It is occurs sometimes from biting your cheek, almost like a calloused area. I would have it checked out by your general dentist or an oral surgeon. I am at a loss concerning your the taste you are experiencing.I don't know how long it has been there and when it occurs. It might be gastric in nature. Certainly mention it to the dentist.
