chronic chest tightness for past few years

i have had chest tightness and slight pain for a few years now (I just turned 29). I have irregular breathing, not just in sleep, but during the day as well. I know this sounds weird, but I catch myself involuntarily/unconsciously holding my breath every once in a while. Could the two be related? Or is the chest tightness probably caused by stress? Do I just need to exercise more?

Brown disoloration does not necessarily indicate decay.  If the tooth is fractured, and needs a root canal, with a new crown, you may want to consider extraction of the tooth and replacing it with an implant.  This may have a better long term prognosis.

go see a dentist to evaluate it. a film and his opinion should not be financially excessive.

SORRY! I posted this in the wrong area.

My dental problem is that one of my molars cracked in half a couple years back, due to a cavity. I then got it capped but the cap came off a little while later. So for about 18 months I've left my molar exposed. The exposed area is now a dark brown, but I still seldom feel any pain in that area. Do I need a root canal? What will I probably need and about how much will it cost me?
