MY 11 YEAR OLD HAS BEEN UNDER ALOT OF STRESS,  HE WAS PUT THROUGH EXTREME BULLING AT SCHOOL WHERE THE POLICE HAVE GOTTEN INVOLVED, PLUS THE DEATH OF A CLOSE UNCLE. RECENTLY I HAVE FOUND THAT HE HAS BEEN WEARING AND USING DIAPERS? HE HAS BEEN TAKING THEM FROM A FRIENDS HOUSE. IM REALLY SCARED AND CONCERNED. ANY HELP WOULD BE APPRECIATED

I have two idea's of why he could be doing this.

1) It's common for people at this age to go through phases of wanting to be younger again. With or without heavy stress, it's still common. I think this is obviously stress introduced though, as he's going as far as he can back, via wearing the diapers.

2) Or the amount of stress is effecting his bladder control, so he wears them because he actually needs to. Stress can effect everything from the way you act, to your defence system, so it's no surprise this is happening.


I recommend you take him to a doctor who could then recommend good local counsellors, psychologist, psychiatrists etc...
He may even proscribe some tablets and medication for him to take.
