Don't ever think of ending it all! This is the one shot at life you'll have. There are lots of things that you can get help with. See your Doc/Psych/ they should be able to direct you. Not everyone is trying to hurt you, you'll get better if you ask for help. Don't despair, am sure many you love would miss you & feel that you'd just quit if you don't get some help, asp. Good luck

Seeing a counselor and talking to them honestly is very different from talking to a friend or acquaintance and and getting hurt by them.  The counselor will be able to communicate with you and help you understand yourself better.  I will say that if you are not connecting with the one you are going to it is OK to tell them and change.  You may do well with this one, but don't be afraid to admit if it is not working.

I have found counselors to be very good for me.  I use them on an as needed basis.  Often a few months make a difference and I can move on.

You have to be able to TALK to them or it will be a waste of time.  Make a list of your needs and concerns so that you can make sure you are telling them what you need to tell them.

Give them time, one visit won't be enough.  It takes time to build the trust you will need to get the support you want.
