Acne - Decutan

HI, I'm a 21 year old guy, I've been with acne for the last 8 years. I went to many specialist and dermatologists through these years and I'm still with the problem. I did alot of creams and tried lots of treatments (such as Blue LED), minaxen pills and even Decutan. Decutan was the most effective. My weight is 76kg. My first course of Decutan was about 2 years ago with a dosage of 40 mg/day. Then acne appeared again few months later after the course was finished. My dosage was than increased to 60 mg/day. Ance didn't appear for about 9 months but now I'm facing the same problem again, altough it isn't severe as the past days. Both courses were taken for about 4 months. Did I take the right dose ? Or maybe the course wasn't long enough? According to my findings on internet and blogs I can take up to 80mg/day for 6 months? Am I correct? and if not what dosage shall I take? Thanks in advance and I appreciate your help!

I don't know how your skin will react to Decutan, no one can tell you that. If your acne are still coming out then use the medicine your doctor prescribed you. Just don't get addicted to your medicine, when it's time for you to stop using them, just stop and don't worry about new acne coming. If you get all stressed and obsessed with that, like "OMG i don't use medicine anymore now they will come back", of course they will come back than. I know how that feels =)
If you  don't have new acne I don't see the reason why you should continue with medicine. Just make sure you eat healthy and exercise. Find something relaxing to do in your free time and just forget about your face.
Most face creams for acne contains medication too, so be careful what you put on your face.
Avoid touching your face and use just the necessary.

It(ance) is common for your age because of  hormone disorder, don't scratch it, administration of antibiotics when necessary.Usually it will disappear when you get married,so let it be!

Thx for your help. I'm taking vitamin c pills (1000mg) twice a day ....i'll try omega 3 with them too :)....I think I still need medication because still ance and inflammation appear but I'm sure these will help. If I take the right Decutan dosage still can react ?

Maybe you should try to change your diet and life style. If you treat your skin too much it can react, so use just the necessary. Make sure you take enough vitamin C and omega 3.
good luck
