How long does it take a hematoma to heal

I fell of my bike a week ago and landed on my chin. I scraped it, i have a bruise underneath it and a hard lump od the chin itself. I know it is probably a hematoma and i'm doing everything to try and make it smaller. All of the other swelling and scabs have healed and the hematoma is all i have left. Its been a week since my fall, so I wanted to know when and should I visit a doctor about it?

I'd go ahead and have a doctor take a look at it now- there isn't any harm in having them check things out to ensure that everything is healing properly.
