Starting and Stopping Accutane

My daughter started taking Accutane several months ago and was on it for 2 months. Our insurance changed and the new derm made her wait 2 months to continue. She's been on it for another 2 months at this point. (2 months on, 2 months off, and 2 months back on.) We've had to change insurance again, and her current derm will not see her because she is on Medicaid. I'm just wondering if it's harmful for her to have to stop and start so often? Any suggestions on what we should do? There are only around 5 Medicaid Dermatologists in our area and it's nearly impossible to get into any of them. Thank you for any help you can give!
