Cherry angiomas on the scalp

I have several of these cherry angiomas on my scalp, most are big and stick out so I have to tell hairdressers about them so they will not scrape them with their brushes or fingernails. They have never bled or itch but they sure do get on my nerves because my hair is getting thinner, yay :(  and I can see these bright red bumps.  Im sure thinning hair ***** for everyone but when your a woman its ***** even more. Mine is hereditary. Anyway, I also have these cherry angiomas on my body, everywhere, but these are smaller and not raised. I was wondering if anyone knows if it's a bad idea to keep coloring my hair. I have since I was a teenager but didn't seem to have these like I do now. They are weird, I have read about them and what they are and I guess (hope) there is no need to worry about them. But I do not want to keep coloring my hair if it's aggravating them. I was just wondering if anyone had heard if it does or not. I wish I could do something to get rid of or shrink them with home remedies. If you have any of those, bring them on, lol. Thanks to those who answer. :)

Thank you for your reply. Maybe one day in the near future I can see a derm about these. I have other issues that need to be addressed first but derm is on the list. I read somewhere that getting rid of these via laser could make the skin more susceptible to skin cancer? Have you heard this? That's something I wouldn't want to risk! I worry enough about the moles I have!

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
The underlying cause for the development of cherry angiomas is not understood, so nothing can be predicted about their prevention but rest assured; they are harmless. If they are to be removed for cosmetic reasons, electrosurgery and cryosurgery can be used. More recently pulsed dye laser or Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) treatment are also used.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
