Hello everyone.

I used to have the very same thing (notice I said USED to). I had always thought these things were caused by the micro dust I was subjected to when working on computers (builds and repairs) because I almost always had a breakout when working on, or cleaning, a computer. This was not the case, though the micro dust did make me wash my hands more often than normal.

In the last few years my daughter, her children, and my sons have all had outbreaks of either the hands or feet, and sometimes both on some of them.

This proves it is a genetic disorder. This caused me to do some severe researching since yesterday on the whole subject, to try and find help for those suffering the same symptoms, as I have been blessed with no outbreaks for over 10 years (and yes, I still work on and with computers).

I came across this site, as well as many others, and have read hours worth of symptoms and possible ways to alleviate the itching, burning and pain.

I compared all the symptoms from sites like these and my own, and have come up with some help for all of you.

The site listed below will help you to understand more of your condition, so please read it: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dyshidrosis

Once you've read it, and if it fits your symptoms, then please read below.

For me, the 'cure' was a combination of less exposure to direct sunlight, a better diet consisting of less cholesterol and saturated fats (the use of canola oil and spread will help to reduce toxins resulting from cholesterol related fats), drink, wash and cook with purified water (I use PUR faucet filter), drink at least a gallon of water each day (it helps to remove toxins by flushing them out), potassium (try to eat foods with potassium, i.e. bananas, etc.), shower every other day or less (to much washing removes all protective bacteria and leaves you susceptible to bad bacteria), wash hands and feet (where affected) with hybiclens soap (comes in a blue bottle and the soap is pink and is over the counter) as it kills bad bacteria (it has a tendency to burn a little but is worth it) and use paper toweling to pat hands dry, then use a dye and fragrance free lotion or cream right after to seal in the moisture. Aloe vera is very good for your hands and feet, and there are many products out on the market that contain it, but if you choose a store product, choose one the doesn't contain dyes or perfumes, but straight aloe from the plant works best.

I have recently come across a very good lotion, more generally new to the market, and I received if as a sample, but it is very effective and without the dyes and perfumes. It's called Simple! It doesn't contain Aloe, but just buy an aloe plant. Aloe plants can have small parts removed for use without killing the plant. The plant will also 'heal' it's self and will grow new shoots, just make sure you have a couple of plants so you can alternate using each one to allow time for the other to gain new shoots.

The lotion, Simple, is for 12 hour protection, but use it as often as you feel necessary. It contains vitamin B5, Glycerin (do not use if you are allergic to any of the ingredients!), Bisabolol and Allantoin.

Avoid high instances of stress when and where possible.

Do not consume a lot of alcohol as it dries your body our from the inside and robs you of the moisture that is needed to combat this problem from the inside out. I do still have an alcholic drink, but only one in like every 6 months to a year (for special occasions).

I hope this helps many of you. I am working at getting my grandchildren cleared right now so that they might find peace from the symptoms. I tried telling my children what to use and do, but as many kids are, they don't listen lol

Good Luck!

Hi! i have the same situation....and my poor hand cant handle much more. I have went to the dr 2xs already and tried 2 different creams. Finally am going to a dermatologist soon. My daughter is 7 months now and it is like giving her a bath with her products or washing her bottles in the baby soap makes it that much worse! Antibiotic ointment really helps me when its really flared instead of the creams dr gave me bc I seem to scratch the little blisters and pop them in my sleep and it keeps the redness down. After they do pop. My hands crack and just get several more groups of blisters.

I have the same little tiny clear liquid blisters that seem to come up from under my skin of my left hand only.  No pain or itching but the result is obnoxious flaky dry areas of skin.  It started about 4 years ago when I touched a lot of new rusty mesh metal and only one finger was messed up for about the first 2 years, then it suddenly spread to the rest of my hand but it just stays on the palm and fingers of my left hand and it is better or worse back and forth.  It quickly gets very bad if I touch dirt, probably because dirt if something that ***** the moister out of skin anyway causing worse flaky skin.
