noticed red bumps

i had unprotected sex 4 months ago and i noticed a few larger red bumps, then many smaller ones began to appear.  I had a fever along with a headache about 4 days after but that was one time.  They are mostly on the underside of my penis while many of my hair follicles on the testicles appear white or larger than normal. There is one large one and smaller ones around it.  that was the only time i have ever had unprotected sex.  i got a blood and urine sample and they didnt find anything in any of the STD tests, which was 3 weeks after the intercourse.  i am ashamed to say that i masturbate a few times a week.  i have not had sex since, in fear that i have something.  when i popped a few of them some had clear fluid, while others had pus like in acne.  I have been putting noxzema on it every day and the bumps dont seem to be going away. i have not had any muscle weakness, no loss of appetite, no discharge, no pain, and no painfull urination.  It iches occasionally but what guy doesnt have an itch down there once in awhile?  I am a 20 year old male.

Hello,
These can be due to clogged pores, irritated hair follicles or Fordyce spots (less likely). Fordyce spots are small, painless, raised, pale or white spots or bumps 1 to 3 mm in diameter that may appear on the shaft of the penis. The spots are non-infectious and a natural occurrence on the body. Apply warm compresses and the topical antibiotics mentioned above. If the symptoms persist then get an evaluation done from a dermatologist.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your dermatologist. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.

they do not tingle and scab over. i think they look like penile papules, but im not certain.  there is just many really small bumps, like barely visible unless you stretch out the skin.  mostly on the underside.

Hello,
From the symptoms and pictures it is good that STD’s have come all clear. These red bumps can be due to irritated hair follicles or cysts. Use an antibacterial soap or mild soap like dove. Avoid any kind of cosmetics. Topical antibiotics such as mupirocin or neomycin containing ointment are also useful. In case the symptoms persist then oral antibiotics may be needed. Please consult a dermatologist in that case. Also if they are painful bumps that tingle and scab over then herpes sores is an important possibility.
