skin bump

hi,

i have today noticed by accident that i have a small hard bump slightly larger than a
pea near the base of my head on the left side. it's inside the hairline so not visible.


it's very slightly tender to the touch. what can it be ?

Hello,
From the symptoms it can be a boil, sebaceous cyst or swollen lymph node. Apply warm compresses on the bump and keep the area clean. Drainage of the bump is done only when it becomes soft and forms a head. Take some over the counter pain reliever and consult a doctor for examination and antibiotics prescription.
