I have been on Metformin and take it at dinner along with Lisinopril.
I have no problem with stomach pains. I think because I have a full day of food on my stomach that helps.

Losartan also has potassium.
The reason you are getting the cramps is because the metformin increases your insulin levels. High levels of insulin deplete potassium, which cause the cramps. Eating one or two bananas should solve your problem. As for Liksonopril, an ACE, ask to switch to Losartan, an ARB. Lisonopril increases the level of what are called bradykinens, which lower tolerance to pain.
Sounds like Metformin to me. Give your body some more time to get accustomed to the new med.
Feels like regardless of what I eat it still does it. Even hours after I take it.
That is Met. eating when taking met can help. There is met XL which is a slow release met that some tolerate better.
