Which are healthy/normal insulin numbers 1 and 2 hours after a meal?

You can ask your doctor for a C-Peptide test along with an insulin test. Insulin and C-peptide are produced by the body at the same rate as part of the conversion of proinsulin to insulin in the pancreas. The test for insulin measures insulin from both sources while the C-peptide test reflects insulin produced by the pancreas.

Reference values are dependent on many factors, including patient age, gender, test method, and numeric test results can have different meanings in different labs.

For these reasons, you will not find reference ranges on iNet. The lab report containing your test results should include the specific reference range for your test/s.

I think that you answered about glucose levels, what I asked was insulin numbers 2 hours after meal instead.
I have found a lot of information about glucose numbers, but haven´t found any information about insulin

from what my dr says after a meal 2 hours 120 is great. depends on what you eat mine has been as high as 157 . my dr says 120-140 after 2 hours
