Our shihTzu / poodle mix has been showing signs of hair lose around his left eye for about three months. He is a three year old neuterd male. At first we looked at the eye we saw a slight injury in the left outer corner of same eye. The injury did heal with the help of a topical antibiotic. Now almost two weeks later the hair is missing around the eye in about a 1/4 in. evenly around . There are no signs of swelling and the dog seems to have no discomfort with sight or irritation. P;ease advise. Thank You.
Hi, Hey it is just a guess but maybe that antibiotic had something in it. You could put alittle bit of it in a small area, where your dog couldn't get it in his mouth and see if it effects the new area the same way. Just an idea. :)
