he is a blue pitt, and he is our only family dog, and i got him when he was 2 mths old. he is very jumpy like if i go outside and call his name loud he'll jst look at me. and look scared. i think my husband talks to him more aggresive like sit, no, etc. we try to walk him about an hour daily when he is around other dogs he seems to get a bit excited but then continues his walk. he gets car sick so we dont take him out that much. i was outside with him last night and i was pulling his tail out he didnt react to it
He may just be a very insecure dog. Would love to hear more about his background, and how you deal with him in general. Sometimes we humans accidentally reinforce mental insecurity in our dogs while intending to do the opposite. Does he get outside for walks every day? How does he behave in public?
Does he move his tail to go to the bathroom? If so, it is probably a behavioral problem. Are there other dogs in the house who are more aggressive (alpha)? Was he a rescue?
Let me know! I am curious myself!
I have never seen it move its just always tucked in his legs, i didnt know a tail could paralyze... wow. i will definately ask his vet. thanks
Is he able to move his tail at all? If not, maybe his tail is paralyzed..he could have been born that way with no muscle or nerve function in his tail...or possibly an accident that caused nerve damage. I would definitely ask a vet just to make sure.
