Salivary and Thyroid Glands

I have been suffering with a salivary infection for several weeks and after two rounds of very strong antibiotics, I still have swelling and a low grade fever.  I should also mention that I have to goiters on my thyroid that have previously been diagnosed as benign, but I have made an appointment with my endo. to have these rechecked.  At this point I am getting very concerned between the swelling, fever and nausea, I feel pretty rotten.

Thank you.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello and hope you are doing well.

If your symptoms are worsening with the antibiotic then the infecting organism may not be susceptible to the antibiotic. Am hoping Diabetes has been ruled out. Have a culture and sensitivity test done to find out the correct antibiotic that the infecting organism is sensitive to and taking this medication for the required amount of days may help to clear infection.

Hope this helped and do keep us posted.

To help with the goiters, infection, fever and  nausea and build up the immune system, I have provided some techniques to help you naturally.
This works gradually, so allow weeks to notice the benefit.
Do ujjayi for more than 11 times, twice a day.
Follow kapalbhati and anulom vilom up to 30 minutes, twice a day.
Anyone following this(anywhere in the world), please post your feedback when you notice the benefit.

Ujjayi pranayam
Procedure: While breathing in, tighten throat(contract glotis) and there will be sound from back of throat, then drop chin(rest chin on chest), hold breath as long as possible. Then  chin up, close right nostril and slowly breath out through left nostril.
Duration: 5 – 21 times

How to do Ujjayi
When you clear your throat, you tighten your throat and breath out, twice, with a pause in between. . Now if you reverse this, that is, tighten the throat and breath in continuously for abour 8 to 12 seconds, then hold your breath for 4 seconds with the chin down, then  chin up, close right nostril and slowly breath out through left nostril, you have just done Ujjayi pranayam. You will feel like coughing initially.

Build up your timing gradually. If you feel tired or dizzy, stop and resume after one minute.
Kapalbhati pranayam -(Do it before eating) Push air forcefully out through the nose about once per second. Stomach will itself go in(contract in). The breathing in(through the nose) will happen automatically. Establish a rhythm and do for 20 to 30 minutes twice a day. Children under 15 years – do 5 to 10 minutes twice a day.
Not for pregnant women. Seriously ill people do it gently.

Anulom Vilom pranayam –
Close your right nostril with thumb and deep breath-in through left nostril
then – close left nostril with two fingers and breath-out through right nostril
then -keeping the left nostril closed  deep breath-in through right nostril
then - close your right nostril with thumb and breath-out through left nostril.
This is one cycle of anulom vilom.
Repeat this cycle for 15 to 30  minutes twice a day.
Children under 15 years – do 5 to 10 minutes twice a day.
You can do this before breakfast/lunch/dinner or before bedtime or in bed.Remember to take deep long breaths into the lungs. You can do this while sitting on floor or chair or lying in bed.
