advise on the best specialist to perform the "double switch"

I have a son that is 1month and 24 days old he has corrected transposition of the great arteries and a ventricle septical defect. His lung pressure is lowering and is currently on medication to help his pressure. his cardiologist wants to do a double switch to correct his defect but we want to just close the VSD. My question is would you know of where and who is the best surgeon with the most done double switches in the united states? His cardiologist is sending us to Milwaukee Wisconsin to preform the operation but they have only done about 6 of these procedures. My concern is if he really needs this procedure or if closing the VSD is the best option atthis time. They are looking to have this done around 6months of life or 1year of life. what complications can he face after this procedure is done with his condition. thanks
