Help with a workout plan to lose weight??

I just recently decided to work out. I need to focus on my stomach and my arms and legs. Those are the areas I am having trouble with. I am very proportional but I want to slim down a little bit. I need some ideas for good workouts and help with dieting to get my body down a little bit. I want to look good!! I am bigger and a little over weight but I am sick of getting stared at when I work out. It makes me not want to work out but I am not about to give up. I need exercises that will help with my sides and my gut and then I want to slim down my legs and tricep area. Please Help me I want to lose about 30-40 pounds and I want to do it in a healthy way. I also would appreiciate information about eatin habits to. Thanks for your time PLEASE HELP ME!!

I hate to say this, but your stomach is the last of it that will go.  Your body loses in layers from all over. your best way to lose weight is to lift a really light, example 3-5 lbs. with alot of reps. (15-30). The stationary bike will also be benefical for your goals.  best of luck to a journey of good health.
