Runners foot pain
Hi I need help… I'm training for a half Marathon, when I run more than 10K my right forefoot feels as though my sock is bunching up. My left foot never does this and it happens on the road or treadmill.  I run with a neutral shoe. Any thoughts on what I can do to fix this problem?

Hello!

I would suggest you to change your shoes and check if they are ergonomically comfortable and see that they are not too tight.

With further pain rule out any local injury or any problem at the ankle and get yourself examined by an orthopedician.

There would be some amount of pain after 10 kms of running and I would suggest you to go progressively and do not exert yourself.

Take rest for couple of days, take intermittent NSAIDs, apply ice packs and continue.

Take care!
