I have been experiencing a weaknesss in my calf muscles that has been getting progressively worse. I have no pain except sometimes when they are rubbed. They do not hurt to walk but can hardly bare my weight when getting out of a car or going steps. I recently have had shockAcute respiratory distress syndrome Cardiogenic shock Electroconvulsive therapy Hepatic ischemia Hypoglycemia Hypovolemic shock Lithotripsy Shock Toxic shock syndrome wave therapy and orthotics put in my shoes. While this has relieved my all the pain in my feet, my calf muscles remain weak. My thigh muscles are strong and no problem. Has anyone experienced something like this? And what was the outcome?
