My concerns are mostly fitness related. I seem to be rather fit in most areas of my body except my lower stomach. I can't seem to lose weight it the abdomen area. Would there be a reason why? I have a bloated look, but I am not heavy in areas such as my arms, butt, and legs. I work out and eat in moderations, and have also found that if I do sit ups/scrunchs I still can't seem to see any results. I like to call it a "stomach pouch", because it has that appearance. Having this problem causes me to fill rather uncomfortable and embarrassed to wear certain clothing or a swimming suit. I wish I could say it was just a small burden or even just a small "pouch", but I feel it is large enough it gives me the appearance of being overweight and unhealthy. Some people have even made the comment that they thought I was pregnant (I'm not). Is there any eating/food and fitness advice you would recommend?
I noticed I started having this problem when I began puperty. I am now 25 and it seems to have never gone away, and I sometimes feel it is getting worse. I am interested in any advice you may have. Would you suggest I visit a Doctor, or do you have any other suggestions I should consider?? Please Help.
Theresa Tapp is a fitness expert. She was planning on becomming a doctor and then started to get more and more interested in prevention/fitness.
She gives clips of her exercises on the website. ( I don't think she has a clip for this one, but for some other great ones. "Try before you buy" type of thing.
I think she is great. She has an exercise that she calls "putting the organsOrgan-1 nr in place" combined with half frogs...or something close to that. She learned it years ago and used it for years while coaching models and particularly for those who had recently given birth, they found quick and fantastic results with this exercise. It gets to that area of which you speak.
I have this particular exercise. It came with the video called "Hit the Floor."
I love her videos and I think she is very, very good.
