I have developed inguinal hernia for the last four months. I am told that it is because of excessive exercise. I am 53, have been playing football as a professional. Now, retired but still love to go for a walk and exercise. I know that If I don't do exercise i would die. Can anybody tell me what exercise can control my hernia. I am doing yoga these days and I am noticing that my hernia is of the same size as of the day first when I noticed it.
Hi, as such there are no exercises which reduce hernia. If you want to know about exercises which do not aggravate hernia then you may go for a walk or even light exercises like jogging. The exercises which need to be avoided are weightlifting or heavy weight training. Yoga is okay. Bye
