getting fatter

I'm eating 2 ryvita for breakfast with orange juice, wholemeal pitta filled with ham salad and orange juice for lunch
normal evening meal, ie oven chips and cod, small portion. 1 canned drink
Snack consisting of one packet of crisps, and the odd piece of chocolate. 1 canned drink
I swim on average 1-2 miles per  week, yet I am getting fatter, Why?

I read your post.
The food that you've been eating really healthy, but that is not everything.
Some other factors that do not allow you to lose weight.

fortunately, exist another ways to lose weight, like meditatve weight lose.

I would fine tune your diet and figure out how many calories you are consuming a day in comparison to how many you should be consuming. And eat very small meals at least 5 a day. I would avoid to much empty calories like drinks ie. juice, pop, coffee w/milk & sugar etc.
