Flying after cataract surgery
I planned to fly to the west coast 2 days after my cataract surgery to heal/rest. Does any eye professional that frequent this forum know of any contraindications to flying after cataract surgery? Would the changes in intraoccular pressure at high altitude be a problem? Would it open up the incision and cause it to leak the aqueous humor?
I asked my opthalmologist and he said that this would not be a problem. I just want to get some other opinions before I scheduled my flight.

i'm sure there are many opinions on this, but i personally would not have any problem with it.  no, it would not "open the incision" or anything like that.  it should be totally fine
