fog over vision

What are the differential diagnoses in a 33 year old male that has occasional fog over his vision?   It is like a "blinking war" to fight it off...one blink it's there, the next blink it goes away, the next blink its there, the next it's there...it's like a constant "war" to "blink away" the foggy film over the eye... it can be in either or occasionally both eyes...not every day but maybe once a week or twice a month, something like that.

1) mucus.  could be associated with allergies, blepharitis, infection of some sort (although highly unlikely on that last one)

2) contact lens problems if you are a contact lens wearer

3) GPC or allergic conjunctivitis.  related to #1

4) refractive issues, specifically & especially uncorrected farsightedness (hyperopia)

5) others...i'm sure there are more.

you need an eye examination.
