Action needed after Stye removal?

Hi,   My ophthalmologist drained my stye today (the stye started approx. 4 days ago, in my lower lid).  Now, many hours later, the area is still red, swollen, and painful.  I am using Vigamox and Amoxicillin 500mg, at 3 times per day, for the next few days.  

I wonder if I should resume using hot compresses, in addition to the eye drops and antibiotic capsules.  I was using hot compresses a few times a day, prior to today.  They were soothing.  Please advise.

You need to discuss this with your doctor.  It may be normal post op healing.
