Central retinal vein occlusion

Sir  I  am suffering from CRVO since 2000.  Last year my surgeon said that my branch retinal vein occlusion has resolved completely.  Is this possible?  Because part of my vision is still blocked.  Also I was Diognised in 2000 to suffer from CRVO  how did this change to BRVO?
I m 68 year old in medication for high BP.
Thanks
Yakub

You live in a city where there are many well trained ophthalmologists. I would suggest you see a different Eye MD, perhaps one trained in retina for an independent second opinion.  You need your eyes checked at least yearly by an ophthalmologist.

Thank you JCH for ur reply.  My right sees slightly blurred while reading.  Also the optholmolist remark that there is no damage to the eye upset me.  In 2005 the hospital performed angiography on my right eye and found out right eye vein ous occlusion with macular edema.  Thereafter I have been on high BP medication.
With blurred vision & pain persisting how can they say that BRVO in R/eye has resolved completely.  Can I have a second opinion.

CRVO  =  central retinal vein occlusion   BRVO = branch retinal vein occlusions.

CRVO is the more serious. The clot can dissolve but still leave permanent damage to the eye.   As the clot dissolves a CRVO can change to a BRVO   or a BRVO can extend the clot backwards and become a CRVO
