Eye blinking

My son is almost 5 months and i noticed he started blinking his right eye very often, as if he had somthing on his eye. This has been for maybe two weeks and it seems to me that the problem is getting worst. He closes his right eye and his chin moves when he does that, like a "twich". I took him to the doctor and she says it is normal, that i should monitor him.  He doesn't seem to be in pain, and his vision is apparently normal, but of course i worry because his blinking doesn't look ok. I will take him to an oftalmologist or a neurologist to make sure thigs are fine. In the mean time your answers are most welcome. thanks!

I believe your son needs to see a pediatric ophthalmologist. this could be a "tic" or blepharospam or "jaw-winking".  Ask your pediatrician for a referral or go to www.aao.org to find one near you (in USA).
