Peripheral retina

I have lost my peripheral retina because of  PVD.
This area of retina detachment doesnot block my vision at all.
(upper detachment between 12-3 on the clock) (not a tear)
However, I would like to know some other related issues about this.
- Does this affect Brightness?
- Does this affect Colors?
-What would the future be?

A PVD is not the same thing as a retinal detachment (RD). A PVD does not cause loss of vision. If you have loss some peripheral vision you may have a RD. You need to contact an ophthalmologist today or go to an emergency room.
