Pupil dilation

Hello.  I am 41 years old and have had it recently pointed out to me that my pupils are different sizes.  This is a new problem that has just surfaced in the past week or so.  It seems that the pupil in right eye is not moving, while the pupil in my left eye is dilating as it should.  Whenever i am outside in the bright sun or i shine a flashlight into my eyes, the left eye will shrink, but the right one does not change at all, so the brighter the light I am in, the more difference there is in the size of my pupils.  What could be causing this and do I need to be concerned?

You should be concerned since this is new.  Please see an EyeMD to determine its cause.
