What should I ask about glaucoma?

by jacquimac71, Jul 16, 2009 02:37PM
4 months ago my son had an ER visit with severe eye pain. They saw a pale optic disc and asymmetery of cupping. They photographed the back of his eyes and made an appointment to come back. The appointment is tomorrow. I am aware they may have been checking for glaucoma. I just wanted to know what questions I should be asking the opthalmologist tomorrow. Any help would be gratefully received.

You will have to wait until all the test are done.  Most  likely you should be fine with drops if you have glaucoma.
