color perception

I notice a difference in color perception between one eye and the other.  I'm in my early 60's and have had a pvd incident in both eyes.  I've recently passed an eye exam with an opthalmologist.  Any thoughts?

Second question:  can the blue-tinted laser headlights cause any permanent eye damage?  I notice that my (left) eye feels "different" for a few seconds after I pass a car with blue-tinted headlights.

Thanks so much,
M. Masi

At your age the most common cause (by far) would be unequal changes in the lens of the eye. The lens yellows as we age, if it effects vision its called a cataract, anyway the yellow washes out colors especially blue.  Much less common would be optic nerve or macular disease.

NO  but most Eye MDs feel the blue super bright headlights should be illegal.
