eye problems after lasik

I'm 25 years old and had been wearing contacts for 10 years approx. until a lasik surgery in April 2007. I've been experiencing tingling and sometimes itching sensations at the corner of my eyes (especially inner) and are so intense that it becomes very difficult to resist scratching. i also experience mild focusing problems with both eyes that last for a few seconds and constant mild pain behind eyeballs. My eyes do not turn red, but are neither white (like healthy eyes look).  I've been experiencing this before and after surgery. Before the lasik, the doc said that it was because of the long time wear of contacts, but it hasn't gone even after surgery.

Is this serious? What should i do?

Hopefully you still have confidence in the lasik surgeon. If so return for a re-evaluation. Ask for a Schirmer Tear test and evaluation for post-LASIK dry eye syndrome.
