green veins under eyes

green veins under eyes

I have been wearing contact lense for the past 10 years. I have dry eyes and I had tried many different high water content contact lenses but I feel my eyes being strained and red veins start to appear on my eye white no matter which brand of contact lense I used. Recently I found that green veins are appearing under my eyes (at the eye bag area) and are spreading. Am I suffering from some kind of eye disease? what kind of eye checkup should I proceed with? Thank You

I suspect that blood, fat and skin just make them look green. There are no medical conditions that cause green veins and because of the various pigments in blood the only thing that might vaguely look green would be decomposing blood.

Wearing contacts with dry eyes is looking for trouble.

See an Eye MD about those veins or take a picture and post it to the web where I can look at them.
