laser for lattice degeneration before ilasik

i went to a laser specialist for my vision correction,who told me dat i have a lattice in my left eye.i got it checked by a retina specialist who advised me retina laser for the same.he also said dat i have developed a hole in my retina and i have to correct it before getting an ilasik surgery done oterwise i might develope a tear.my question is should i get this retinal surgery done before ilasik because i m not experiencing any floaters or any other symptoms.my vision is -2.5 left eye and -2.25 in right eye.left eye has -0.5 spherical with cylindrical component where as right has cylindrical only.please do let me know because i have already paid a much amount for these two to my doctor who would treat me in next two days.     thankyou.

Use the search function for lattice with holes.  I would not treat it.
