pain in one eye

by starra1129, Nov 25, 2008 11:06AM
For the past 4 days I had constant pain in one eye.  It is a sharp piercing feeling.  I also noticed that right above my left eye my forehead and eyebrow is very painful to touch.

Any ideas what this could be?

You really need to be seen by an eye MD ophthalmologist and since this is a medical problem, medical insurance should cover the visit.

You did not mention your age but sometimes, more common in older folks, the herpes zoster shingles virus can start like this with pain and no findings then blisters form some days later. This could also be a preseptal cellulitis so you should get it checked out.
