toxoplasmosis chorioretinitis by birth

hello, i,m from pakistan, my son was born in August1999 , his responses to objects were not normal as observed by me , so i went to seek medical help from opthomolgists who after examining him declared that the baby is victum of toxoplasmosis chorioretinitis, since then a little improvement has been experinced in the vision but still at the age of about 8 yrs plus he`s unable to see any object clearly, despite the hopes given by the doctors that the boy will be allright as he grows upto age of 10-11 yrs, there is no significant improvement in the vision. i,m frequently showing him to various peads opthamologists n the best know eye specialists in pak
i request u to reply me as is there any transplant or implants in case of such retinal damage which has been found in case of my son, as he`s now in his 9th year of age

I'm sorry but there are definitely no transplants or implants for this situation.  I am not clear as to just how much chorioretinitis he has.  Is there a central scar in the macula?  Understand that many, many people have toxoplasmosis scars but still have totally normal vision.  If there is a large scan in the center of the macula, then, unfortunately it can cause very serious loss of central vision in that eye - but the other eye could still be totally normal.

infact both eyes have same prob n central portion of the retina has scars, only peripheral vision is upto some extent in which he can  view a bit and that too lighted objects from some distance n from close position even those object disappear, n some time he can pick some of the objects but that too not very clear n they are blurred, the problem is with both the eyes and the magnitude is almost same, the  final comments of the opthomologist in pakistan are ; vision in both eyes is reduced to retinochororitis secondary to ocular toxoplasmosis vision is 3/60 in either eye, which can not be further improved, he also drew some diagrams which are hand drawn n i can scan n paste as attachments which he observed in child eye under general anesthesia,
thanx n will appreciate ur kind reply with expert views plz
regards
